Current Events: Global Warming

The current topic of global warming is on everyone's mind, but have you actually stopped to think of how it affects the enviornment? In this case, global warming is melting the glaciers and ice around the world. Scientists said last year they expected that all the ice in the Arctic Sea will be gone in 2040. But now scientists have seen a major change and say that within 5 years all the ice might be gone! This is a huge problem becasue water is building up in the Arctic sea and will eventually overflow. This cause will destroy houses, take away lives, and much more. Overflowing is a natural disater that can be helped, but at this time, not much is being done. Another reason this is bad for the environment is because not having any ice means that more heat will just be adding up. So every day we wait, it'll just be harder for us to fix. Global Warming also affects the ocean's but not as much, by evaporating the water. This proves to be a problem becasue water is a non-renewable source which means that once we finish it, there is a chance that we won't have it anymore. !WE NEED WATER TO LIVE! And with poverty, and developing countries, it only seems like we'll just be using up our resources quicker. With that said, if we don't take immediate actions by helping to use less fuel to polluting less, the future won't be looking so bright. Something you could to help is pollute less, not to waste water-food, car pool as to not wasting fuel, use a bike or healthier way of traveling, and much more! Any questions or comments, click below
